Today, I'm going to accentuate the Canadian Accent.
It's a thing – subtle, but it's there.
I give you an idea of what it is. There's a bit of joking, and a bit of seriousness – but hopefully after listening today, you'll get an idea of ANOTHER thing that makes a Canadian, a Canadian.
I'm still looking for your stories of your home province – please send them to me (audio file or a few paragraphs that I can read) to me at the SAME address you can use, if YOU want to be a part of MY podcast. For that, please send me a recording of you saying,
“This podcast is produced by the Fireside Chat Club of Canada”.
Send either of those to: AsISeeIt@whorpole.ca
AND, you can also contribute, by Buying Me A Coffee.
Please go to my website – https://whorpole.ca and click on the yellow “Buy Me A Coffee” icon. It'll help me in my endeavour to find and produce the best Canadian content for you, every week.

Mine is a weird mash-up of Wyoming/Michigan with a sprinkle of Canadian

I enjoyed the podcast. I have filmed live videos on Periscope in the past, many international friends and American friends who watched my live videos of Canada’s Wonderland , Christmas lights, thunderstorms, and my garden had said you have a true Canadian accent. I found it surprising as their accents were unique: New Jersey, New Zealand, Australian, Netherlands ,Texas, etc . I never thought of myself as having an accent. 🙂
