When my wife Caroline was just out of college, and looking for a job, her mother said to "aim high".
It didn't take long before she returned home with a job offer from the CN Tower restaurant, the "Top of Toronto". Caroline turned to her mother and said..."is this high enough for you?" True story.
To this day, it remains the definitive landmark on the City of Toronto lakeshore, and a place I drive by every day of the week. Join me as I dig into the details of the tallest free-standing structure in the Western Hemisphere – the CN Tower.
